Abstract

Language is one of the biggest of barrier for human to understand and interact each other. Studying language from scratch can consume lot of time so mankind try to invent a way to conveys the message without studying the language. A song is one of humanity masterpiece to achieve that goal. People tend to forget a lot of things because everyday there’s something new to be remembered. However, a song that rhymes can easily awaken the core memories in people that they have been forgotten. A song may contain some message that used to convey a strong feeling of the composer to the listener. They use lot of expressive feelings that can’t be explained by a word. The connotative meaning is a study in semantics that analyze those expressive feelings. Because sometimes, word can have two meanings, the study of connotative meaning is needed so the listener won’t misunderstand the messages from the composer.
