Abstract

The title of this research is the analysis of personal development of the main character in the film turning red. This research aims to find out the psychological development and psychological conflict of the main character. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Researchers utilize Erik Erikson's theory, a theory of psychosocial development with eight stages of development, which includes stages of industry versus inferiority and identity versus role confusion. The result shows that there are two stages of psychologicaldevelopment of the main character in the film "Turning Red", namely "industry versus inferiority" (10 data) and "identity versus role confusion" (11 data). Besides, there are also some conflicts experienced by the main character (5 data)
