Abstract
The objective of this research is to learn the teaching of Indonesian for foreigners (BIPA) for beginner level in connection which nouns, verb, adjectives, and adverbs. The research is conducted at the library of Language Center of National Education Department, Jakarta. The data of this research are taken from five books of teaching materials for beginner level are recently published. The data of the research are vocabularies which are taken from the reading texts which relate to noun, verb, adjective, and adverb. The methode of the research is qualiatative approach with descriptive method. The technique of analysing data is based on Kridalaksana's and Alwi’ s approach to determine parts of speech in Indonesian language. The findings of the research are as follows a) the Vocabulary in BIPA teaching materials for beginner level are texts which have high level of frequency which can be catagorized into the frequency of vocabulary application categorize: (1) nouns, (2) verbs, (3) adjectives, and (4) adverbs. In connection with the above explanation, information about vocabularies in BIPA teaching materials for beginner level and kinds of vocabularies corresponding to nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs can be used as a reference material for teaching vocabulary and sentences.
