Abstract
This study is conducted on the basis of the library and the Internet approaches to observe how the adjective clauses in the novel are translated into Indonesian. The object of the study is the novel “Chill Factor” by Sandra Brown translated into Indonesian Terjebak Dalam Badai by Julanda Tantani. The method used in this study is the descriptive method which involves gathering data, analyzing and concluding them, as a result the adjective clauses in the novel found consisting of the adjective clauses having/not having relative pronouns and relative adverbs which are translated correctly into Indonesian are grouped into classification A. And the other adjective clauses having relative pronouns and relative adverbs which are incorrectly translated into Indonesian are grouped into classification B.
