Abstract

This study is entitled The Analysis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder of The Main Character in The Movie All The Bright Places by Jenniver Niven. The study aims to identify the causes of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in main character, the symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stess Disorder) in main character and the way the main character recovered from her trauma. The research methods used are qualitative methods. The theory used in this research is PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Dissorder) and theory of id,ego,superego. Data collection techniques used are film scanning and reading techniques. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawings. The results of this research show that the factor of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Dissorder) of the main character is Accident events experienced by the main character, the symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Dissorder) are avoidance and negative allerations in mood and cognition and the way main character recovered is the support of of her surroundings. Key words : literary psychology,post traumatic stress disorder,symptoms,all the bright place, id, ego, superego.
