Abstract

This research is entitled “NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER SHOWN BY HOMELANDER’S CHARACTER”. The purpose of this research is to identify the signs of narcissistic personality disorder that is present in Homelander from The Boys TV Series (2019) and its effect on his life Using Caligor, Levy, & Yeomans theory, the researcher examined the dialogue that is said by Homelander in this study. The qualitative descriptive method was employed by the researcher. The researcher used purposive sampling to collect the data from Homelander’s dialogue and action. The results of this research were: (1) Homelander is proven to have all nine signs of narcissistic personality disorder. (2) Due to having all the nine signs of NPD, Homelander’s life is confirmed to have been affected by this condition.
