Abstract

"Racial Prejudice In The Witcher Netflix Series" is the title of this study.
This study takes the issue of racism that occurs throughout the film which makes a
reflection of real world events and the researcher uses Herbert Blummer's racial
prejudice theory for data collection and uses Alan Swingwood's socialogy approach
theory for social aspects in the film "The Witcher" both theories are used to analyze
the data. The researcher used qualitative descriptive method. The data was taken
from the script and dialog in the movie and qualified using a table which totaled 58
data divided into two tables: 8 data Felling Superiority, 8 data Felling Different
Race and Alien, 8 Felling Proprietary Claim, 5 data Fear and Suspicion from
triggering effect of racism and 7 Felling Superiority,13 Felling Different Race and
Alien, 4 Felling Proprietary Claim, 5 Fear and Suspicion from data people attitude and belief towards different races.
