Abstract
Cardiac arrest (cardiac arrest) that occur outside the hospita lis one of the causes of morbidity and mortality in developing countries. Various ways have been developed to improve the survival rate and depress disability after cardiac arrest, but very rarely find any patients who recovered without sequelae after cardiac arrest. Several clinical studies have been done to prevent neurological damage as a result of cardiac arrest, including by conducting therapeutic hypothermia. Therapeutic hypothermia is done by lowering the core temperature of the patient's body in a controlled. The results showed that therapeutic hypothermia improves neurological function and reduce mortality rate in patients after cardiac arrest. This article is the result of a literature review using relevant literatures and researches carried out in several countries to describe hypothermi terapeutic analysis.
