Abstract

In facilitating operational activities for procurement of goods in hotels, a good storage system is needed in the storage room (Store Room). This research was conducted at Terakita Hotel Jakarta. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with primary data collection techniques, where the data is collected by making observations, documentation and direct interviews with the Accounting Department in charge of the store room, namely purchasing section, receiving and storekeeper. The results of this study show that Teraskita Jakarta Hotel uses a storage system with FEFO (First Eexpired First Out) and FIFO (First In First Out) methods. The problem that often occurs is misunderstanding in the procurement of goods/materials, with this the way of handling used is by communicating continuously so that the goods/materials are in accordance with the request form.
