Abstract
While so many soft wares in business and finance exist, their apllicability will depend much on types of business that one runs. In accounting soft wares, users’ interests play major parts to insure the applicability of such soft wares. The study explores the use of accounting information system by some private businesses across Jakarta. Survey is used to examines the business entity under study. The study has the finding that of the total samples under study, there are 63, 93 % expressed their relative satisfaction of the soft wares used. This indicates that some substantial numbers of soft wares have not made the users satisfied. Since onle small size of samples was used, the study recommends that in the future larger size of samples need to be studied to find out whether the finding is justified.
