Abstract

There are only few research about butterflies in Nature Recreational Park Angke Kapuk Jakarta Utara. Butterflies have an important role as pollinator, bioindicator of nature changes. Aim of this studi is to investigate biodiversity of butterflies (Lepidoptera) in Nature recreational Park Angke Kapuk Jakarta. This study was held in Agustus 2018. Purposive sampling was used as method with bug net and digital camera. Study was divided into three occasions, each has different plot. Result: We found 104 butterflies from 4 famili dan 13 butterfly species. Family that had been found are Papilionidae, Pieridae, Nymphalidae and Lycanidae. Famili that has greatest number of genus and species is Nymphalidae. Butterflies that have been found with low number are Papiliodemoleus, Eupleamulciber, Elymniashyperminestra, Junoniahedonia and Polyrahehe. Butterflies that have been found with high number is Zizina Otis. Buttterfly diversity index in this are is low (1,3), index of evenness is moderate (0.5). Plant diversity index is low (0.7) and index of evenness is low (0.2). We found strong correlation between butterfly and plant. Enviromental factors measurement showed that this location has meet butterfly development criteria
