Abstract
Translation is not only about translating the language; it is also about translating the meaning of a language to another. Of course the translator must translate the meaning as close as possible to the source text. The aims of the study are to figure out how phrasal verbs are translated into Indonesian and also to find out kinds of phrasal verbs. The study uses the descriptive qualitative method in collecting, analyzing, and concluding the data from the movie script the “Source Code.” This study focuses on two types of phrasal verbs, namely separable and inseparable phrasal verbs and the analysis of the translated data which include the meaning of the data.
