Abstract
How would evailability of energy in the future give impacts on world politics and technology. This article much of it is based on David Montague’s paper presented at the Centre for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University February 2006. Remarks are made with particular locus ib the country of Indonesia. The article come to the conclusion that for Indonesia to get rid of external energy resources, it is necessary that the country strengthen its energy resources by developing coal-based energy, nuclear power plants for walefare, and mass-rapid city transportation using blue energy. All these would insure national security of the country. Key words: energy resources, national security of Indonesia, coal and nuclear-based energy resources, blue-energy rapid city transportation.
