Abstract
Since 2004 the Indonesian government decided to implement good governance in the public sector. The concept has been developed and named good public governance (GPG) with five principles: democracy, transparency, accountability, culture of law, fairness and equality, to apply to state institutions in order to create conditions for governance in the public sector is good and healthy. But after running through 2010, the condition of state institutions is not fast moving better and healthy as expected. This paper examines the implementation of good governance in the public sector from political dimensions to uncover what the root cause. Keyword : Good (Public) Governance, Governance
